1. We use high-quality HEPA air purification units and/or building HVAC HEPA systems and keep windows open for ventilation.Teachers provide sanitized instruments and collect mouthed instruments separately.
2. Wellness Guidelines:
We adhere to a strict wellness code: Children/caregivers should stay home with symptoms of illness and schedule a make-up class after fully recovered. Please wash hands as you arrive/depart and/or use the provided hand sanitizer.
Wellness guidelines may be updated at any time.
3. Make-Up Classes: Families may schedule three makeups during an academic year session and two in the summer. Make-up classes must be scheduled during the same session and do not carry over.
4. Class Capacity & Extra Adults:
At the Phinney Center location two adults may attend with each enrolled child. If you would like to bring extra guests please contact us in advance to schedule the visit, we can almost always accommodate requests. Extra adults are always welcome at the larger Sunset Hill location.
5. Sibling Drop-In Classes
Siblings may drop into class if space allows and the visit is set up in advance. Drop-in classes are $20 for children nine months through five years. Drop-in visits for friends/relatives are $25 for the first child and $20 for additional children under age five.
OUTDOOR MUSIC CLASSES - PROGRAM POLICIES
What to Bring to Class:
Each family should bring a large, waterproof outdoor blanket, water, sunscreen and layers of clothing for sun/shade.
Inclement Weather Class Postponements:
We hold class in light wind/drizzle and postpone for steady rain, high winds (16 mph +), AQI of 90+ and temperatures below 36/above 90 degrees. In case of a weather-related postponement, families are notified one hour or more before class via text. Postponed classes will be made up at the end of the session; class credit will be extended if the calendar does not allow for make-up classes.
